The Night Vision Devices PVS-14 Monocular SFK with P+ Spec Tube is a kit that includes a Generation 3 image intensifier tube and the accessories usually required for special operations.
The NVD-PVS-14-P+ has a Pinnacle power supply and an P+ image intensifier tube. Its slightly lower specs make it more economical than the HP+ tube. The tube has a minimum signal to noise ratio of 20, a photocathode response of at least 1750, and a resolution of 64 lp/mm or better. The unit has a manual gain control which allows the user to adjust the screen brightness to suit the conditions. It runs up to 40 hours on a single AA battery. Total dark viewing is possible thanks to a built-in LED IR illuminator.
