The Manfrotto Digiscoping Tripod Kit is comprised of the MT055CXPRO3 Carbon Fiber Tripod and the MVH500AH Pro Fluid Head Flat Base. The weight of the assembled kit is 6.5 lbs and it extends from 7.2" to 70.6". The tripod's carbon fiber legs are secured by updated flip lever Quick Power Locks, lever locks that increase the tripod's rigidity by 50% compared to previous models. The upper disc where a tripod head is mounted has a new design that features a bull's eye bubble level that can rotate a full 360°, allowing the user to keep it in view at all times and level the tripod in both horizontal and vertical planes. The center column has also been redesigned with a "one finger" operation and includes an Easy Link attachment, perfect for attaching an LED light, reflector, and other accessories. Because the center column can be positioned horizontally, both low-angle and macro photography are possible.
The tripod head delivers smooth panning and fine control with a load capacity of 11 lbs and a counterbalance set at 5.3 lbs. Real fluid cartridges on the pan and tilt axes help eliminate abrupt starts and stops, resulting in smoother video when digiscoping. The innovative side lock allows fast, secure, easy attachment of a camera or spotting scope. This technology allows for a longer sliding plate and wider base, which supports a wider range of digiscoping cameras.

"Limited Conventional Warranty Extension", offered by Manfrotto as a special extension to the "standard" Warranty and is free of charge up to 5 years after the original purchase. To take advantage of the “Limited Conventional Warranty Extension” scheme, you must register your product with Manfrotto within 12 months from the date of purchase.
