The 4mm exit pupil of the 12.5x50 is 7% larger than that of a 15x56 and the 286 foot field of view at 1000 yards is significantly larger than a 15x56. Double HD objective lenses (extra-low dispersion lenses that are chemically laminated to create a single multi-layer high performance lens) and GPObright lens coatings which pass 99.7% of the light that passes through each air-to-glass surface both contribute to reduced surface light reflections, enhanced resolution and color contrast, and minimized chromatic aberration. External lenses have PASSIONdrop hydrophobic coating. The Passion HD 10x50 has a generous eye relief of 16.5mm and a close focus of 9.8'. Of course, they are waterproof and nitrogen purged.
