The GT3532 Mountaineer Tripod is superbly built from Carbon eXact tubing that is highly durable and shock-absorbent to dampen external vibrations. This high modulus carbon fiber offers the rigidity and support for cameras with up to 400 mm lenses. These are the ergonomics that professional photographers seek while remaining light enough (5.8 lbs) to carry around for hours in the field. The legs are protected by Gitzo's G-Lock Ultra system that prevents debris and dust from entering the mechanism. At the same time, these locks provide secure positioning of the legs and make shooting height transitions quick and simple. The rapid center column has a stabilizer hook for attaching extra weight if you need increased stability. The 1/4" and 3/8" attachment allows you to connect a plethora of accessories.
The GH3382QD Center Ball Head is a large professional tripod head with desirable features. The friction control knob lets you fine tune the amount of drag present during movement. The 360° rotational freedom and -90° / +40° front and lateral tilting freedom provide a huge span of viewing perspectives. Independent pan and tilt locks give you extra degrees of control for choosing the perfect shot. The included Arca-Swiss compatible plate quick-release plate (GS5370D) is locked with a screw-knob and equipped with a bubble level.
