Do you ship outside the United States?

Yes, we ship outside the US.

Can I pay by credit card?

Because of the potential for credit card fraud that arises from foreign banks not verifying billing addresses and card security codes, we do not accept credit cards from outside the United States, with the exception of American Express when the order is shipped to a pre-approved address, and the card is issued directly by American Express, not a foreign bank. Otherwise, international orders may only be paid for by credit cards issued by a US bank to a person with a US billing address, by wire transfer, Western Union, MoneyGram, or PayPal (only when shipping to the billing address). In some countries, PayPal will accept a credit card; in others a cash deposit is required. Please contact PayPal to see if they will accept credit cards from your country. A copy of our wire transfer information form is attached.

How do I place a PayPal order?

To place an order using PayPal, shop our site as you normally would. When you are ready to check out, click on the yellow PayPal button in the shopping cart. If your country is in the drop-down list, proceed with the PayPal checkout.

To place an order using PayPal from a country that is not yet enabled on our site, send an email to orders@optics4birding.com , listing the items you want to purchase. Please include the manufacturer's SKU(s) or the cid= number(s) listed below the image on the item page(s) on our site. Be sure to include your complete shipping address and phone number. We will send you an email with the prices for each item, the shipping cost, and the total. When you confirm this price, we will send you an email via PayPal with a request for payment. When PayPal informs us that they have received your payment, we will begin the order process on our side.

How do you handle currency exchange rates?

We only give prices in US dollars. The final price in your currency will depend on the exchange rate on the day you complete your wire transfer or PayPal transaction. We cannot be responsible for fluctuations in currency exchange. The prices for the items you want are the same as those listed on our site.

Do your prices include duties or taxes?

Our prices do not include any duties, customs, or taxes that may be imposed by your government. You will be responsible for making any such payments after your order arrives in your country. We ship via FedEx. FedEx will sometimes decide to collect customs and duty charges when they deliver, and other times will hold the package at their warehouse until you come and pay these charges. We suggest that you contact your local FedEx office and inquire about their policy.

Is there a warranty for my products?

All products we sell come with a US warranty. While an international warranty may also be included, it is possible that your equipment may need to be returned to the US for repair. This may vary from manufacturer to manufacturer and even product to product.

Can I buy night vision devices?

Export of U.S. manufactured night vision equipment is strictly prohibited without a valid export license issued by the U.S. Department of State Office of Defense Trade Controls, in accordance with International Traffic in Arms (ITAR), Title 22, Code of Federal Regulations Part 120-130, and/or the U.S. Department of Commerce. First generation devices of foreign manufacture may be shipped outside the US without a license.

How much does shipping cost?

Exact shipping cost will require your city, country and postal code (if used), and phone number. Shipping price also depends on shipping speed, current fuel prices, total weight, size, and the insurance value of the order. If you use PayPal to pay, your shipping cost will show after you have entered your address and reach the final checkout page.
