The Pulsar Helion 2 XP50 2.5-20 Thermal Monocular offers improved performance over the original model. Prime among these is a NETD (noise-equivalent temperature difference) of <40mK, enabling the Helion 2 to detect and display tiny differences in temperature on a human subject as far away as 2000 yards. Its display is a 640x480 AMOLED display with 8 color palettes. Digital zoom has an 8x range from 2.5x to 20x. The Helion 2 is also equipped with Wi-Fi connectivity and an integral video recorder and camera. This combination allows users to livestream images, recordings, and live action to anyone with a smart phone with a Stream Vision app, and save the recordings to a 16GB memory for future downloading. When seeing the terrain is as important as seeing the target, switching to hot black will show you the most detail in your surroundings. Notice how the bark of the trees and the blades of grass are easy to see.

Monochrome Red Color Palette

One of the things that can alert your quarry to your presence is when the light exiting the eyepiece lights up your eye for all the world to see. The monochrome red palette minimizes the brightness of the light hitting your face from the eyepiece, keeping you better hidden.
