The Pentax SP 8x40 binoculars feature larger objective lenses which are designed for astronomical as well as terrestrial use. The 40mm lenses are fully multi-coated with anti-reflective properties that also gather more and improve light transmission and boast an impressive 430' field of view to observe vast landscapes. With the porro prism configuration you get a richer depth of view as well as more surface area for a comfortable grip. The 8x magnification allows a decent observation experience whether for hunting or other outdoor activities.
