The Leupold SX-5 Santiam 27-55x80 HD Straight Spotting Scopes incorporate Leupold's Twilight Max HD Light Management System for improved low light performance, glare reduction, and edge-to-edge clarity.. The scopes are waterproof, and fogproof and rubber armored. The external lenses are coated with Leupold's DiamondCoat 2 for abrasion resistance and increased light transmission, and Guard-Ion Lens Coating for repelling water and dirt. The glass itself includes extra-low dispersion objectives and rare earth element coatings on the oculars for augmented color rendition and resolution. SX-5 Santium Spotting Scopes are designed and assembled in the USA.
