The Leica Geovid 8x42 HD-R 2700 Binocular Rangefinders are force to be reckoned with in the world of binocular rangefinding. This model integrates superb rangefinding accuracy with Leica's patented prism design to yield precise measurements and a remarkable view. The rangefinder reads at a maximum distance of 2700yds (for reflective objects) to go above and beyond normal standards. The device displays EHR (Equivalent Horizontal Range) to account for any incline/decline between you and your subject. This measurement is much more practical for most applications.

Leica has shattered expectations of optical quality once again with the Geovid HD-R. It incorporates their patented Perger Porro prism system that eliminates the bulky design of traditional porro prisms while taking advantage of the minimal light loss they provide. This yields incredible light transmission and contrast to keep your view sharp and vivid. The HDC lens coatings deliver exceptional color reproduction and eliminate chromatic aberration, resulting in a crystal clear image. This 8x42 model has a spectacular 426' field of view at 1000yds, helping you spot targets within a wide landscape. For ultimate performance in bad weather, this waterproof, fogproof binocular features Leica's water-repellent, scratch-resistant AquaDura lens coating.
