The TSN-770 series scopes are Kowa’s take on a standard full-sized spotting scope. Despite the large-sized 77-mm objective lens, the Kowa TSN-770 scopes are still very compact at 12.0-12.5 inches long, and the magnesium alloy frame holds the weight to less than 47 oz. Kowa’s TSN-770 series scopes have several extra refinements not found on their smaller scopes, like a dual focus mechanism (one knob each for coarse and fine focusing) and an eyepiece locking system. As with the smaller scopes, the TSN-770 scopes are fully multi-coated and completely waterproof and nitrogen-purged to be internally fog-proof. The PROMINAR TSN-773 (angled) and TSN-774 (straight) have XD lenses, both objective and oculars. This means that the TNS-770 scopes often have superior light-throughput even relative to the best 80- to 85-mm scopes from other manufacturers. All TSN-770 scopes are fully digiscoping capable with Kowa’s adapters, and all are made with Kowa’s heavy metal-free Eco-Glass process.
