Had a twenty year old Celestron 80mm spotting scope, with threaded eyepiece, no replacement avail and thought the scope was good, but the zoom eyepiece was its weak point!
Recently purchased the Celestron 65mm after long discussions with this company. Wanted something very small, but in a budget. Not found anything!
Pete still recommended this Celestron (smaller then the 80mm) and after two weeks could not be more pleased!!!
This scope has 1 and 1/4 exchangeable eyepieces ( have several Televue) and that is the feature I was looking for.
Could not rate this company higher then six stars and the scope 5 stars.
Wish people would remember, you are not going to compare this to a Leica, etc at twenty times the price, but it is underpriced for it value and performance.
If you are in the market for something like this, give this company and this Celestron a try!!
Oh, Moon is contrasty and some star clusters are diamonds!
