Telescope/Spotting Scope Rail
The Telescope/Spotting Scope Rail from Swarovski is a secure and stable quick-release mounting platform for ATS/STS and STM/ATM spotting scopes.
The lower section of this unique mount can be attached to a tripod, while the uppermost section is designed to fit snugly to the spotting scope - the scope's foot attaches securely to the main part of the plate, while two rubber isolation mounts cradle the scope's housing. One shock mount is permanent, while the other can be switched out to accommodate the particular scope being mounted (angled/straight).
The rail greatly reduces setup time, and it provides an extremely stable three-point mount for the scope. Releasing the locking lever allows the scope to be slid forward or backward to achieve the greatest amount of stability - once the positioning is perfected, the locking lever can be reset to secure the scope in place.
