The Steiner Commander C 7x50 Binocular features fully multi-coated optical elements that provide images with increased resolution and contrast while an additional 'Diamond-Marine-Coating' is applied to increase light transmission for stunningly bright, color accurate images. For protection against dirt and water, a hydrophobic coating is applied to the outer lens surfaces. With 7x magnification and 50mm objectives you will get good magnification and greater visibility in low lighting conditions while the handy 'Sports-Auto-Focus' feature delivers sharp images from 66' to infinity without the need to refocus. For your viewing pleasure, the binocular offers a 7.1mm exit pupil.
The Steiner Commander C model offers an integrated illuminated compass with fluid-damped HD-stabilization technology which provides smooth directional readings, and a ranging reticle for estimating distances. The body comprises a lightweight and battle-tested Makrolon polycarbonate body with a contoured rubber armoring that provides external protection and a secure grip. The NBR rubber armoring on the Commander is resistant to oils, abrasives and liquid fuels. With a housing that is waterproof and submersible to 33', you can use these binoculars in a wide range of outdoor activities and training sessions, including boating and water rafting. Two winged fold-down eyecups are made of non-aging and non-irritating silicone for maximum comfort and durability. To top it all off, the package comes complete with a rainguard, objective lens covers, semi-rigid carry case, and a floating neck strap.
