The Fujifilm S1240 D/N Stabiscope™ is both a day and night vision binocular. The eyepieces are easily interchanged so that your day time 12x40 binocular can quickly morph into a serious NVD with amazing image intensifying capabilities. The astounding abilities of this binocular do not stop here, there is also a state of the art gyroscopic image stabilization system built into this wondrous optical device. The image-stabilizing gyro system is incorporated in the binocular to get a steady image while observing from a vibrating platform in both the day and night time binocular configuration. Fujinon Day & Night Stabiscope makes it possible to observe in the dark, from a moving car, or from an airborne helicopter. The image intensifier tube electronically amplifies very slight light 20,000-30,000 times so that you can see objects at night, too. It's compact, lightweight and waterproof.

Third generation image intensifiers are more durable, less prone to bright-light blooming, and deliver higher levels of resolution than previous generations of night vision technology.
