Leica Duovid Series Binoculars
Leica Duovids are premium quality binoculars that permit the user to switch between two discreet magnifications. Available in 8+12x42 and 10+15x50 configurations, Leica Duovids are roof prism binoculars that adapt to differing field conditions. At low power, Duovid binoculars provide a larger field of view and the classic, bright, high-contrast images Leica optics are famous for. For a more distant target, Leica Duovid binoculars have a higher magnification for that extra bit of detail. The innovative Duovid binoculars have the Automatic Diopter Compensation that maintains the original diopter setting when the user switches powers. Leica Duovids also feature the same HighLux System for reduction of stray light, found in Ultravid binoculars. Another feature for added user comfort is the nicely tapered eyecups, and the option of eyepieces designed for users who wear glasses. The eyecups of the Leica Duovid binoculars adjust to two additional positions besides fully in. The ergonomic design and the soft-touch black rubber armoring allows for a secure and shake-free handling of the binocular, even while wearing gloves. Leica Duovid binoculars come with a neoprene carrying strap, contoured eyepiece cover and a Nappa leather case.
