Hotech USA has finally done it. The Astro Aimer Generation II is a Green laser guide device plus an LED map-reading flashlight in BOTH white and red! It covers all of your lighting needs in one hand-held unit. Precise pointing: The green Aimer is a 5mW, 532nm, green laser device that eliminates the guesswork in showing companions a particular spot in the sky. Sure, pointing your arm at the sky will give your friends a rough idea. But if you aim this green laser up there, a thin, continuous beam of green light will point out exactly what you want to show. Easy operation: Separate, top-mounted on/off buttons energize the unit, and, for safety, the ON button glows dimly to signal that the device is on. At the "business end" of the unit, a rotating knob lets you select red or white light. The red even has three stages of brightness, so you can select the degree of night vision you want to retain. For night's-end cleanup or the walk back to the car, select the white, and you'll get brilliant illumination to guide your hands or feet. Compact & convenient: The unit measures 1 inch in diameter making it easy to hold, point and carry. It also fits into most viewfinder brackets – including the standard 6x30 mount – for simple attachment to telescopes. The device operates on 3 AAA batteries, which are included.
