The Manfrotto 701HDV,190XV View Aluminum Tripod Kit consists of the 701HDV Pro Fluid Video Mini Head and the 190XV View Aluminum Tripod. While fine for digiscoping with mid-sized scopes at low power, this tripod is too light for digiscoping with full-sized scopes at high magnifications or with dSLRs.

The 701HDV offers an updated design, which has been created for improved ergonomics with locks and knobs that allow for a more solid grip and better control, a better fluidity thanks to improved internal fluid cartridges, a double pan-bar rosette and a bigger sliding plate to optimize the position of the camera considering its center of gravity.

The 190XV View Aluminum Tripod has been redesigned, lighter in weight and slightly more compact for outstanding performance. The ergonomics of the leg angle release mechanism and the quick action leg locks themselves have also been greatly improved. Two of the legs feature Manfrotto's foam rubber leg wraps which provide comfort on your shoulder and insulation for your hands on very hot or cold days. The 3-faceted center column means your scope or camera will stay pointed in the same direction when the head is raised or lowered.
