Alpen Rainier Binoculars
The Rainiers are Alpen’s premium line of roof prism binoculars, made with the finest materials to the most exacting standards. The 8x42 Alpen Rainier is made with extra-large BaK-4 prisms enhanced with Alpen’s SHR metallic coating and PXA phase coating for maximum brightness, sharpness and contrast. To this, Alpen adds their UBX full multi-coating on all optical components of the Rainier 8x42 binoculars. Large-diameter lens elements throughout the Rainier 8x42 binocular provide a large 393-foot field of view at 1000 yards. Alpen Rainier 8x42 binoculars have a minimum close focus of 6.5 feet. Eye relief on the 8x42 Rainier binocular is 18 mm, enough for anyone wearing glasses, while pull-up, twist-lock eyecups increase comfort for those who don’t. The Alpen Rainier 8x42 binocular has a fully locking diopter mechanism. The Rainier 8x42 binocular is O-ring sealed and nitrogen-filled to be totally waterproof and internally fog-proof. All Rainier binoculars are backed by Alpen’s lifetime warranty. Includes free Alpen Harness (#5555) and Alpen Aluninum Tripod Adapter (#153).
