Like all Alpen Apex binoculars, the 10x42 camouflage version is made with fully multi-coated BaK4 glass for bright, sharp images. The prisms of the Alpen Apex 10x42 binocular also have the PXA phase-coating for higher resolution and the HR metallic coating for better light throughput. The camouflage version of the Alpen Apex 10x42 binocular has a minimum close focus of 8 feet, and a wide 315-foot field of view at 1000 yards. Alpen Apex 10x42 binoculars weigh just 22 oz. Eye relief on 10x42 Alpen Apex binocular is 16 mm, adequate for those who wear glasses. The eyecups adjust with a twist-lock mechanism for those who don’t. Alpen Apex 8x42 binoculars are fully sealed and nitrogen-filled to be completely waterproof and internally fog-proof. All Apex binoculars are backed with Alpen’s lifetime warranty.
