Great Scope for the Money
5.0 stars
By Bob

I have a pair of Alpen Binos and they have always worked great! I decided I wanted a spotting scope for those shy birds I just can't get close to and for use at the range. This scope, for what you pay, is a great scope. It has clear glass. The controls are easy to work. I particularly like the focus adjustment on the side of the body. In the past I have had scopes that the focus was either at the eyepiece or on top of the body. I much prefer it on the side. The tripod that comes with it is adequate for table work. I have some regular full size tripods that fit the scope well when it has to sit on the ground. All in all, I would give this scope a 5 out of 5. Alpen does not make junk and what they do make is reasonably priced.
